Ron Davidson

Deacon

Ron Davidson grew up attending Friendship Baptist Church in Belvedere, SC, where the seeds of his faith were sown. With a heart for service, he has dedicated a significant portion of his life to church leadership, serving as treasurer and Deacon of Finance at his previous church for eight years. In August 2023, he joined Trinity Reform Baptist Church as Deacon of Finance, where he continues to honor God through financial stewardship and support for the church community. As a founding member, Ron and his wife Brenda passionately serve the Lord and His body in various capacities, all while giving Glory to God.

Professionally, after College Ron began his career in a metallurgical laboratory within the phosphate industry. His journey took him through various labs, including quality control, environmental science, and food sciences, where he honed his skills as a chemist. In the late 1970s, he discovered his aptitude for reading and writing software code, ultimately leading to a successful career as a software developer. In 2022, Ron retired from TAB US, Inc., a Microsoft partner, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and excellence. In 1986, Ron married the love of his life, Brenda, in Lakeland, Florida. While they do not have children of their own, they have played a significant role in raising their niece and great-niece since infancy. Their niece, her husband, and their two daughters are treasured members of their extended family. Throughout their marriage, Ron and Brenda have attended various churches, but it was through their niece Nikita that they were introduced to reform theology. This pivotal moment deepened their understanding of the gospel and transformed their view of true saving faith. As they continue on their spiritual journey, Ron and Brenda remain committed to serving their church community and sharing the love of Christ with those around them.
