Bible Reading Plan for 2010
We are committed to fact that the Bible is sufficient for all of life and practice.
2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
In order for us to be able to sufficiently apply the Bible to life, we have to know it and meditate on it.
Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
A great way to begin knowing and meditating on God's Word is to read it. Our Bible Reading Plan for 2009 enabled the reader to read all of God's Word in one year in a chronological order. Our plan this year is to focus on Psalms and Proverbs in our Bible Reading Plan for 2010. Other plans are available at websites like Heartlight.org.
Questions to ask when reading any Scriptures for the year:
- How is Christ seen in the passages for today?
- How do the passages for today fit into God's redemptive plan?
- How are the passages for today fulfilled in the gospel?
Scripture Memory Plan for 2010
As a church we will be memorizing and meditating on these Scriptures.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thiy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
- April - Isaiah 46:9-10
Remember the former things of old: for I am God and there is none else; I am God and these is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, my counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
- May- Psalm 126:5-6
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him

I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end, Amen.
